SHIFTY Version 1.4 Upgrade README file -------------------------------------- Important --------- If you have already downloaded SHIFTY Version 1.3, then you only need this upgrade file to update the databases to Version 1.4. If you have not already downloaded SHIFTY Version 1.3, or if you have an older version, then this upgrade is not enough, and you will need to download the entire SHIFTY Version 1.4. Purpose ------- This upgrade patch contains three chemical shift databases, all of which are upgraded versions of the old databases which SHIFTY uses. The databases contain all of the old chemical shift listings along with approx. 15 - 20 new proteins, which have been appended to all three. Other updates have also been made, such as changes to certain protein names and content. These databases are meant to be a replacement for the ones currently being used by SHIFTY. Included Files and Directories ------------------------------ README - this file dsw.h.db - the new hydrogen chemical shift database dsw.c.db - the new carbon chemical shift database dsw.n.db - the new nitrogen chemical shift database Installation ------------ Simply replace the database files that your version of SHIFTY is using with the files included in this patch (they should have the same names). The old database files are no longer needed. Authors ------- Authors: David Wishart, M.
